LSLS 2026 Interest Group

I am the daughter of Joe Evans and Kay Evans; I was born and have lived in Nacogdoches all of my life. I am a graduate from both Nacogdoches High School and Stephen F. Austin State University.

I married her college sweetheart, Heath Wallace, and together we have a son, Campbell.  

I have been working in the insurance industry here in Nacogdoches for over 25 years, and in May of 2013, I opened Nikki Evans-Wallace State Farm.

I love my hometown so when I am not spending time with my family, or at work, I enjoy volunteering.  Boards I am currently serving include the Boys & Girls Club Advisory Board, the Nacogdoches Education Foundation and the Nacogdoches Area United Way.  I am also a Past President and Honorary Board member for the Nacogdoches High School Alumni Assn, a past member in the Fredonia Rotary Club and a Sustainer with the Nacogdoches Junior Forum.

Community Rx Help is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing access to prescription medications for uninsured and underinsured individuals in Angelina, Nacogdoches, San Augustine, and Shelby counties. We serve as a liaison between healthcare providers, pharmaceutical companies, and patients to reduce barriers to care. Through our Maintenance Medication Program and Emergency/Immediate Medication Program, we help eligible patients obtain essential prescriptions at little to no cost. By partnering with local clinics, pharmacies, and service organizations, we aim to build stronger collaborations that ensure no one in our community goes without the medications they need.
